How to Enroll in Mobile Banking via UTB Mobile Banking App

You must first be enrolled in online banking. Once enrolled, navigate to your provider's app store and search for the UTB Mobile Banking to download the app*.

Mobile Deposit

With the UTB Mobile Banking app, customers who are enrolled in Mobile Banking can deposit checks through our mobile deposit feature. Mobile deposit is available for retail clients only. Eligibility and other restrictions apply.


FAQs: How Do I Enroll in Mobile Deposit?

If you are already enrolled in online banking and can access the UTB Mobile Banking app:
  • Login to your profile via the app
  • From the dashboard, select Deposit Check
  • Complete the steps to submit your request. You will be notified in the app when you are approved
  

Why Am I Unable to Deposit my Check? 

Below are some reasons why your check may not be accepted through our mobile deposit:*

  • The check has already been submitted
  • The type of check is not accepted
  • Your check is torn or has folded corners
  • Handwriting is not legible or is not in blue or black ink
  • Amount entered does not match the amount on the check
  • Routing and/or account numbers are unclear
  • Image is too dark or blurry
  • Lack of proper signature/endorsement. All checks must be endorsed with "FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY" or "FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT AT UNITED TEXAS BANK ONLY"

What Type of Checks Can I Deposit through Mobile Deposit?

United Texas Bank will review the deposit and reserves the right to reject a deposit. You can deposit checks payable in U.S dollars and drawn off any U.S Bank, including personal, business, and most government checks. 

What are the Mobile Check Deposit limits? 
 
The limits can be raised, lowered, added, removed and/or waived at our discretion. Limits can be found in the UTB App.

What Is the Daily Cut-off Time, and When Will the Funds Be Available?

If you deposit a check, (subject to eligibility requirements), before 4 p.m. Central Time on a business day that we are open and it has been accepted, we consider that day to be the day of your deposit. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. United Texas Bank reserves the right to hold funds. 


Is There a Fee to Use Mobile Deposit? 

There is not a fee for United Texas Bank customers. Some data charges may apply based on your data plan with your mobile carrier. Please check with your carrier for potential charges. 

What Do I Do if a Deposited Item Is Returned? 

Do not rescan the original check. Please take the returned items into a United Texas Bank branch for re-deposit or call Customer Service at 972-239-7000 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. 

What Do I Do with My Checks after I Make My Deposit? 

Please keep the original check for 30 days. Store the checks in a secure location, and do not attempt to re-deposit them. United Texas Bank may request the original check. After 30 days, please write "Void" on the checks and destroy them.
